Creamy Ass ‘Chicken’ & Noodles


When you want it creamy with a big capital ‘C’ dig into this. Noodles and veg with big chunks of the best ‘No Chicken’ out there.


  • 1 package ‘Comrade Cluck’ No Chicken
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp v. butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 cups no-chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup cashew cream
  • 2 big cup uncooked egg-free egg noodles
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley

The How-To

  1. Saute ‘No Chicken’, celery, carrots, and onion with the v. butter & oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for about a minute.
  4. Pour in the no-chicken broth and stir until the flour has dissolved. Add in the Italian seasoning and cashew cream, then bring it to a low boil. Cover the pot with the lid cracked.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in the noodles and cover the pot again, the lid cracked, for another 8-10 minutes. Give it a few stirs so the noodles don’t stick.
  7. Taste and season with salt & pepper and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
